Porto Torres, huge audience for Max Gazzè and the Orchestra della Sardegna

A “Summer Wind” brightened up the Easter Monday in Porto Torres.

A spectacular concert between the saxophones, percussions and guitars of the Sardinia Jazz Orchestra directed by maestro Gavino Mele that merged with the sounds of the Roman singer-songwriter Max Gazzè . About twenty thousand people for “Note sotto la Torre-Pasquetta in musica per l’Asinara” , an immense crowd that crossed Corso Vittorio Emanuele, in the heart of the city, until reaching the stage set up at the foot of the Aragonese Tower.

The brilliant start of the orchestra, before the entrance of the star who involved the audience in the song “Il farmacista”, then the songs “Una musica può fare”, the great successes “La favola di Adamo ed Eva”, “Il timido pazzo”, the songs presented at the Sanremo Festival.

The singer mentioned his companions in adventures on various tours, in 2025, the year in which in addition to continuing the Musicae Loci tour, he is the protagonist, together with Niccolò Fabi and Daniele Silvestri, of the docufilm “Fabi Silvestri Gazzè – One step at a time”, which tells the 30 years of friendship of the three singer-songwriters retracing their artistic and human journey. A party, on a not exactly clear day, but which did not betray the expectations of the many present, who came from nearby locations. An event that began in the afternoon, after the rain, animated by musical events, markets, exhibitions, artistic installations and attractions hosted in the green space surrounding the Aragonese Tower and in the historic city center .

The event organized by the municipal administration in collaboration with numerous associations, citizens and the commercial activities of the CCN Botteghe Turritane, this year too was dedicated to the promotion of the Gulf and the island of Asinara with the aim of attracting tourists to learn about the vast cultural, environmental, archaeological and food and wine heritage of Turritano.
