Le 20 auto da collezione più care di sempre vendute all’asta

Ricordi quando una Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe del 1955 è stata venduta per la sbalorditiva cifra di 135 milioni di euro a un’asta a Stoccarda?

Lo straordinario esemplare, che prende il nome dall’ingegnere capo dell’epoca Rudolf Uhlenhaut, è uno dei soli due prototipi costruiti. Basata sulla W196 R di Juan Manuel Fangio, vincitrice per due volte del campionato mondiale di Formula 1, era dotata di un motore elaborato a otto cilindri in linea da 3,0 litri ed era in grado di raggiungere velocità fino a 290 km orari. In seguito Uhlenhaut la requisì come auto aziendale.

Si considera come l’auto più costosa mai messa all’asta (e, in effetti, è anche in generale uno dei primi 10 oggetti più costosi mai venduti all’asta), in una lista dominata dalla Ferrari, ma che comprende anche marchi come Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, McLaren e altri.
